Wednesday Night Changes
This year Wednesday nights will look a little different.
1. Powerhouse will no longer practice on Wednesday nights. Instead the Powerhouse band will meet at a different time to practice and prepare to lead worship. Youth are welcome to participate in this group as they choose. If you or your child is interested please contact Jay and Marilyn Kroeker. 2. Wednesdays will be spent in small group Bible studies. It is important that youth have a space where they can build trust with peers and and a mentor adult so they can have important conversations about real life and the Bible. It will be crucial for the youth to participate regularly in these small groups to build relationships with one another. If one individual is missing it changes the dynamics of the group. Groups will be between five and seven youth. We will be studying 1 Peter this year. We will do some large group studies alongside the small group conversations. We will also have times of worship and and fun activities. We will send out text reminders when the schedule (6:30-8 pm) or location changes. This means there will not be a weekly reminder text this year. |
Reminder to Fill Out Forms
Remember to fill out the following annual forms (one for each child) so your child can participate in all church activities this year. If you updated your forms for the 2022 Service Trip to Minnesota you do not need to fill them out again.

fusion Summer Service Days 2019
|
This summer the combined area youth group, FUSION, spent two Saturdays volunteering with the local non-profit, Grace Children's Home to help them upgrade their properties to prepare to serve the foster children who will be joining our community in the upcoming years. We worked hard at the Horse Arena to prepare it for Equine Therapy. In addition we worked at the local houses and at Grace Hall painting, putting in fences and cleaning.
We ended the summer and kicked off the school year on August 18, 2019, in the green space by Grace Hall for a time of worship, snacks and games. Mark Danielson, Grace Children's Home Director, and Paul Daly, a foster parent for Grace, spoke about 2 Corinthians 5: 14-21 and encouraged the youth to be ambassadors for Christ during this school year. |
