bible memory
Every week there will be a Bible memory verse to focus on during the week. We have created an image you can download in order to help your family memorize it.
We also included a link below where you can find the full memory verse for each of the six weeks.
When we want to do it our way... Do it God's way.
Jesus was tempted in the Garden by the desire to avoid suffering, but he trusted God and followed his plan for his life even when it was difficult. Paul wrote to the Philippians after Jesus' death and told Jesus' story and invited Christ's body, the church, to let go of what we want and our need to control, and to humble ourselves in order to follow God's plan.

coloring project
Each week of Faith@Home, you are invited to color one coloring page with the corresponding number on the top left corner (Example: Week 2 will have a 2 at the top). Each page has small sections of the Bible Memory text for the week as well as the book, chapter and verse so that you can look up the verses easily.
You have lots of options to create this piece of artwork however you think best fits your family. You can...
Get/print multiple copies so whoever wants one can have their own set of coloring sheets. However you choose to split up the coloring of each page, when you are finished, they will all fit together to make one big poster that you can hang up in your house as a reminder that "God is with you." Be sure to post a picture of your coloring along the way in our padlet board above.

games
When we want to do it our way, do it God's way.
Let's Play: Family Favorites
Supplies: Family members
How to Play: Choose a category (for example favorite food, favorite cartoon character, etc.). Everyone chooses their favorite in that category and keeps it a secret. Take turns guessing each family member's favorites. You earn a point every time you have guessed someone's favorite correctly.
How well do you know your family? In our memory work this week, Philippians 2:4 teaches us to "Value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others."

activity
Week 4: When you think about yourself... Jesus shows us what it looks like to consider others.
Jesus' Last Supper & Death: Matthew 26:26-28, 36-42
Jesus calls us to consider others by treating them kindly and helping out when we can. However, helping out during a world-wide sickness where we need to keep our distance is difficult when it come to helping people out! Make a list or create some drawings of ways that you can treat people kindly (sending letters or pictures in the mail, for example) or helping people out (like picking up sticks in an elderly person's yard) while still keeping a safe distance.
