Living at the Intersection

Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind’; 
​and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

In Luke 10: 27 Jesus invites us to live at the intersection of loving God and loving others.  So how can we love God and people?  
​
​Here are two practical ways to live out your love this month.​

1. LOVE GOD:
Start memorizing God's word so you can carry God with you where ever you go.  This month's scripture is 1 John 3:16-18.  Here are some fun ways to memorize the scripture:

• Sticky Notes: Write it on a sticky note and put it on your mirror or somewhere visible
• Scripture on your Unlock Screen: Download one of these pictures of the scripture and save it as the image for your unlock screen on your phone​- check out other images on Pinterest

2. LOVE ONE ANOTHER:

Where do you see Love in Action?

• Pay attention to the world around you
  
• Snap a photo to represent where you see love enacted in your life.  You may find love being lived out on social media, interacting with friends or neighbors, a news story, at church or on the court or field.
